Martin Gendelman
 
With a markedly international flair, the music of Martín Gendelman has been performed in Europe, South America, and the United States. His aesthetics, in continuous evolution, is the result of a diverse musical experience, and has been influenced by expressions like South American folk music and American jazz, and the works of European composers such as Ligeti, Berio and Xenakis.

Created for solo, chamber groups, electronics, and orchestral ensembles, his works materialize a genuine contemporary expression, and have been received with equal enthusiasm by performers and audiences. Simultaneously, he has led many cross-disciplinary projects. Collaborating with talented choreographers, dancers, video artists, light designers, set designers, and fellow musicians, he has explored the connections between sound, movement, and space in a variety of settings and situations.

Gendelman is a member of the Society of Composers, Inc., the American Composers Forum, and the College Music Society. The copyrights of his music are administered by ASCAP.
